Welcome to Our WikiBookclub

Our wikibookclub is a fun way to discuss books and exchange ideas. Each month a new book will be featured on the homepage and book club members can start posting as soon as they have something to share.

The benefits of a wikibookclub are almost too numerous to list but here's a few:
  1. It's easy to join and you don't have to leave your house in a blizzard to meet with your fellow bibliophiles.
  2. It's fun to log in and see who ripped your posting to shreds "anonymously."
  3. You can share on your own time--whenever you have time--because all you need is an Internet connection.
  4. Books are more fun to read when you can discuss them with other people.
  5. You can discover new books and new authors just by "lurking" if you're too shy to actually jump in the conversation.
  6. Being part of a wikibookclub gets you using Web 2.0 tools (like wikispaces) and keeps you "hip!"

Let's get started!
  1. Each month a new book will be posted by someone in the club. I'll start a new wikipage so the current book will always be evident. In order to discss the current book, you have to first click on the book page, then "discussion."
  2. In order to make a post, you have to first register with WIki. It's easy and just takes a minute or two.
  3. As we evolve, we can figure out how to "vote" on upcoming books, etc.

The most important thing is to have fun and keep reading!
